  1. Am I Offended Or In Confrontation With Someone?
    •  “Settle matters quickly with your adversary….do it while you are still together…” Matthew 5:25
    • “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:10-13
    • “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Ephesians 6:16.
    • “Therefore submit to God, Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:9
  2. Do I feel Distant From God? 
    • “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10
    • “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded” James 4:8
    • “Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will lift you up.” James 4:10

  3. When Struggling With Doubt Or Unbelief:
    • “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
    • “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
    • “So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” Hebrews 2:1
  4. Reassurance Of His Calling:
    • “For I know the plans that I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.” Jeremiah 29:11-12
    • “he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was able to perform.” Romans 4:20-21
    • “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1Thessalonians 5:24
    • “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
  5. Feeling Depressed: 
    • “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” 1Peter5:6-7
    • “O my people, trust in Him at all times. Pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge.” Psalms 62:8 
  6. When Struggling With Fear/ Worry: 
    • “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26: 3-4
    • “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
    • “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
  7. Be Bold, Meek & Learn To Speak Up 
    • “But Jesus asked him, Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” Luke 22:48
    • “Speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9
    • “..but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head-Christ-” Ephesians 4: 15
    • “Therefore, putting away lying, “let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” Ephesians 4:25
    • “Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ —who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.” 2Corinthians 10:3-5
  8. When Discouraged & Mocked: 
    • “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” Deut 31:6
    • “But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend, You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts And said to you, “You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely, I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish. You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them, those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent. For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.”  Isaiah 41: 8-13
    • “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54: 17
    • “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matt 5:11-12
  9. Feeling Alone
    • “The Lord is the One who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8
  10. Dealing With Anger:
    • “Be angry, and do not sin.” do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26
    • “It’s better to live alone in the corner of an attic than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.” Proverbs 21:9
  11. Am I Stagnant? 
    • “Create in me a clean heart and renew a loyal spirit within me.” Psalm 51: 10
  12. Identity / Confidence:
    • “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” Psalm 139:14
    • “For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He has to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.” Hebrews 2:16-17
    • “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2:9
  13. Am I Supported?
    • “For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 2Chronicles 16:9
  14. When Tempted To Sin
    • “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9 
    • “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if you heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days;” Duet 30: 15-20.
  15. Replace Negative Thinking With Truth.
    • “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Cor 10:3-5
    • “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
    • “Finally brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any figure and if there is anything praiseworthy –meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8
